Office 2019 Mac expired: what to do now

If your Office 2019 Mac has expired, it means: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook still open and start, but you can only view and print documents and can no longer edit or save them. The reason is the code-signing certificate, which expired on 13 July 2026 and is not being renewed by Microsoft.
