From the ISO to the finished installation
- Download the ISO. The official ISO is available free of charge directly from Microsoft. If you purchase through us, you will also find the matching, Microsoft-signed ISO in our download library.
- Make the USB stick bootable. Use a tool such as the Microsoft Media Creation Tool or Rufus to write the ISO to a USB stick with at least 8 GB.
- Install from the stick. Boot the PC from the USB stick and reinstall Windows 11 Pro from scratch or upgrade the existing system.
- Activate with the key. Enter the licence key during or after the installation. If you run into problems, our support team is here to help.
Why the ISO and the licence belong together
The ISO file installs Windows 11 Pro, but it does not yet make it an activated system. Only the licence key unlocks the full functionality and confirms to Microsoft that the installation is legitimate.
