The comparison is quickly told: Standard and Professional Plus are identical except for one program. Professional Plus additionally includes Access, the database program from Microsoft Office. Everything else is the same in both editions.

Which edition suits you
- Professional Plus, if you use Access for your own databases, such as customer lists, inventory or project data.
- Standard, if you do not need Access. This applies to the vast majority of users.
- When in doubt. Anyone who does not know Access or has never worked with it most likely does not need it.
- Cost question. The price premium from Standard to Professional Plus is only worth it if Access is actually put to use.
